On September 30, Deputy Prosecutor of the Kirov Region Mikhail Legovets conducted an inspection of Pre-trial Detention Center No. 1 in Kirov. He inspected the security blocks, dormitories, communal and maintenance facilities of the institution, and also personally spoke with those held in custody.
According to the prosecutor’s office, the detention center generally provides the necessary material and living conditions. At the same time, violations of the law were identified. They were discussed at an operational meeting with the institution’s administration and the regional office of the Federal Penitentiary Service (FSIN). Prosecutorial response documents will be prepared following the inspection.
