Olympia has a new coaching staff.

      As of today — September 29 — Kirovo-Chepetsk’s Olimpiya has a new coaching staff. The team competes in the Higher League of the Russian Ice Hockey Championship.

      Olimpiya is headed by Mikhail Zvyagin. Mikhail Nikolaevich has extensive experience: a product of the Tyumen hockey school, he formerly played for Rubin (Tyumen), Metallurg (Serov) and Kedr (Novouralsk); for Metallurg he played more than 300 games, scoring over 100 points. He began his coaching career in Kazakhstan, working with Beibarys and Irtysh. From 2016 to 2018 he headed Kurgan’s Zauralye; until June 2025 he was the head coach of HC Unison‑Moscow.

      In the standings, our team is in 26th place out of 32 teams.
