Residents on Shchorsa Street are being flooded, while the Capital Repair Fund remains inactive.
The Prosecutor’s Office of the Leninsky District of Kirov identified violations in the activities of the regional Capital Repair Fund. The supervisory authority found that the organization had not taken measures to select a contractor to repair building No. 41 on Shchorsa Street, although the work had been scheduled for 2024.
Due to the fund’s inaction, the building’s structures are deteriorating, and apartments are flooded when it rains. The prosecutor’s office went to court, demanding that the Fund be required to carry out major repairs of the building’s facade, foundation, basement and roof.
The court granted the claim, recognizing the prosecutor’s demands as lawful and well-founded. The enforcement of the decision is being monitored by the supervisory authority.
