In Kirov Oblast the Union of Armenians of Russia installed a commemorative stone brought from Armenia. It is made of tuff, a traditional Armenian stone, and will become a symbol of the eternal friendship and mutual respect between the peoples of Russia and Armenia. The Armenian and Russian alphabets are inscribed on the stone, underscoring the spiritual and cultural closeness of the two countries. The entire memorial complex is currently undergoing reconstruction: monuments commemorating the heroes and victims of the Armenian Genocide are being renewed and will be mounted on modern structures. Representatives of the Union of Armenians of Russia noted that the renovated site will become a space of remembrance, respect, and brotherhood, uniting generations and highlighting the historical and cultural ties between Russia and Armenia.
