Frosts down to -6°C are expected in Kirov Oblast on the night of September 29.

      As reported by the Kirov Hydrometeorological Center, the regional center is forecast to have 0 to -2°C at night and +7 to +9°C during the day. Across the region, 0 to -5°C is expected, with air frosts down to -5°C and ground frosts down to -6°C. No significant precipitation is expected; winds will be northeasterly at 2 to 9 m/s.

      Amateur weather forecasters also note that the cold night will affect the entire territory of Kirov Oblast. According to their calculations, temperatures in the central and northern districts may fall to -3 to -4°C, while in the south it will be slightly milder — around 0 to 2°C.

      On the night of September 30 frosts will persist: in Kirov down to -1°C, on the ground down to -4°C, and in the region's districts down to -6°C. During the day the air will begin to warm to +8 to +13°C.

      Residents of the region are advised to take the forecast into account when planning agricultural work and protecting plants.
