Donaurovo transferred to Kilmezsky District

As a reminder, the bill states that from January 1, 2026 the territory of the Donaurovo rural settlement — and Donaurovo in particular — will belong to Kilmezsky District. Previously it belonged to Urzhumsky. The reason for the changes is that Donaurovo is closer to Kilmez than to Urzhum, as well as the presence of a river separating the settlement from Urzhumsky District and the lack of bus service to the district center.
Today at the Legislative Assembly’s plenary session deputies considered this initiative. As a result they passed the bill in two readings. No one spoke out against it.

Kirov Oblast is also close to the Republic of Tatarstan. Personally, I wouldn’t mind joining.
