School readiness in Dolgushino and on Torfyanaya is 41-46 percent.
According to Minister of Construction Mikhail Skokov, three schools were built in Kirov this year — in Shevely, on Rudnitskogo, and (already funded by the regional budget) in the Kurochkina settlement. The educational process there began on September 1.
Work continues on the construction of six schools with a total capacity of 5,600 places. The school on Prospekt Stroiteley is scheduled to be completed first — as early as next month. Educational equipment is currently being installed there, and an application has been submitted to the construction supervision authority for the handover of the facility.
There is still a lot to be done at five more sites. The readiness of the school on Vorovskogo is 65%, in Dolgushino — 41%, and on Torfyanaya — 46%. Their completion is promised in 2026.
On Vorovskogo the frame is nearing completion; site landscaping and the construction of sidewalks and access roads are underway. Workers are also carrying out work on the stadium, the facade, internal engineering systems, and rough finishing.
In early September, Monolit resumed work on 8 Marta Street in Dolgushino. Site landscaping, column reinforcement, and roofing work are currently underway.
On Torfyanaya the frame of the academic building has been completed; installation of the frame for the sports and recreation center (FOK) is 90% complete, and engineering networks are being installed along with site landscaping. The contractor is also working on the stadium, playgrounds, access roads and sidewalks, installing windows and completing the roof and facade.
New contracts have, as is known, been signed for the schools in Kotel'nich and Nolinsk. Contractors are developing the designs, which are planned to be submitted for state expert review by the end of the year. The commissioning of these facilities is to take place by July 1, 2027. It should be noted that in Kotel'nich there is also ongoing litigation with the previous contractor regarding advance payments for the work.
Fifty-five percent of Kirov residents are against a unified sports uniform in schools. Vladimir Kodachigov: "I get up at four in the morning, I think about school"... "Monolit" promises to complete the school on Stroiteley in September, and the one in Dolgushino in summer 2026.
