Kirov residents in China will have access to free Internet for 12 hours.
The countdown for using the 1 GB welcome package will start not from the moment of entry into the country, but only from the moment the user goes online. No additional activation is required — the option is already available to subscribers by default and is activated automatically when they go online.
Both the welcome package and the operator’s roaming will allow subscribers to use, without restrictions, services that are unavailable in China — for example, messengers popular with Russians, video services, cloud storage, and to watch films and series on streaming platforms, including content downloaded for offline viewing. When connected to local Wi‑Fi, these services and content may be unavailable. The special offer will be valid until the end of this autumn for all individual subscribers.
Travel to China has become more popular among Russians: this year 30% more tourists visited the country than in 2024. Furthermore, in the first week after the visa‑free regime came into effect tourist flows increased by more than 5% compared with the previous week.

From September 15, 2025, Russian citizens can visit China without a visa. They may stay in the country without a visa for 30 days; the trial period will be in effect until September 14, 2026.
