The Prosecutor's Office of the Kirov Region obtained, through the courts, compensation for damages from an unscrupulous contractor who failed to meet the terms of a government contract. An inspection showed that the commercial organization did not deliver 95 televisions worth 11.2 million rubles to educational institutions in the region. As a result of the proceedings, the party at fault was entered into the register of unscrupulous contractors, and the prosecutor's office secured recovery of the difference between the contract price and the budget funds actually spent.
