In Kirov, a driverless car ran over a man.

      On July 22 of this year, during a vehicle inspection, after handling the battery the engine started spontaneously and the vehicle moved forward, pinning a 54-year-old specialist from LLC "RESO-Leasing." The victim sustained multiple fractures that doctors classified as serious injuries. According to the state labor inspectorate, the causes of the incident were the absence of the necessary equipment that should prevent unintended movement of machinery, as well as shortcomings in the occupational safety instructions. In addition, the specialist was allowed to work without undergoing mandatory training and a safety knowledge test. Other violations were also identified that did not directly affect the incident, including the lack of mandatory medical examinations for some employees. The question of bringing the company and the responsible officials to administrative liability is currently under consideration.
