Bastrykin took an interest in the pollution of the river in Kirov.

      It was recently reported that the Mostovitsa River had been polluted by the discharge of untreated wastewater. In recent days specialists found traces of petroleum products in the water. An investigation was launched by the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Kirov Region.

      Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed the acting head of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Kirov Region, Maxim Kozlov, to report on the results of the investigation and the decision taken. The Investigative Committee has taken the investigation’s progress under its control.
