95% of homes in Kirov are ready for the heating season.

      The Department of Municipal Services reported that all necessary system checks, including pressure testing and pipe flushing, have already been carried out in most buildings.

      Problems with documentation remain with seven management companies — Remprofit, Plan, Novy Gorod, City Service Enterprise, Zhilishnik, Lidergrad and Davinci. They were advised to build up a stock of materials and increase staff numbers to address possible emergencies during the winter. Information about them has been sent to the prosecutor’s office and the State Housing Inspectorate, which may take measures up to revoking their licenses.

      At the same time, authorities stressed that the absence of a readiness certificate will not affect the timing of heat supply — heating in residential buildings will be turned on when the average daily temperature falls below +8°C for five consecutive days.

      Note that the heating season in social sector institutions already began on September 15.
