      In the Yaransky District of the Kirov Region, the prosecutor’s office defended the pension rights of a 51-year-old local resident.

      The woman filed a complaint about the territorial office of the Pension and Social Insurance Fund refusing to include in her service record the period she worked at an agricultural enterprise. The reason for the refusal was corrections in her labor book. As a result, the amount of the preferential pension she was entitled to was reduced.

      The prosecutor’s office filed a lawsuit asking the court to recognize the disputed period as part of her employment record. The court upheld the supervisory authority’s position and ordered that the woman’s work be taken into account when recalculating the pension.

      Her pension rights have now been restored, and her payments will be adjusted upward.
