12 students from Kirov will receive scholarships equivalent to a salary.
The scholarship established by the Governor of the Kirov Region, Alexander Sokolov, is traditionally awarded to first-year students who scored 100 points on the Unified State Exam (EGE) in at least one subject. This year 12 students from VyatGU, Kirov Medical University and the Kutafin Volga‑Vyatka Institute were included on the list. All of them will receive a scholarship of 30,000 rubles.
Future linguists, doctors, chemists, engineers and managers will receive increased scholarship payments for three years. Among the scholarship recipients are two female graduates from district schools who scored 100 points in two subjects. Alexandra Utkina from Omutninsk achieved top marks in Russian and chemistry and enrolled in the medical university. Anastasia Luchinina from the village of Mukhino in Zuevsky District scored 100 points in Russian and English and is now studying linguistics.
The regional Ministry of Education notes that such students may become qualified specialists in the future and help replenish the ranks of professionals at Kirov enterprises and organizations.
