Acceptance of applications for remote electronic voting and for choosing a convenient polling station on Gosuslugi has ended, the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation reported. Nearly 2 million people used the services.
1,700,000 applications were submitted to participate in remote electronic voting (REV), and 289,000 Russians submitted applications to choose a polling station. Note that REV is used in 24 regions of the country, and the "Mobile Voter" service is available in 36 regions.
The largest number of applications to participate in REV was submitted in Sverdlovsk Oblast: 259,600. In Rostov Oblast — 258,100 applications. Almost 200,000 applications were submitted in Chuvashia (198,700), Perm Krai (174,900) and Chelyabinsk Oblast (144,100).
