Three doctors and six mid-level medical workers started work. All of them are from the Urzhum district and decided to return home after completing their studies. Pediatrician Regina Nikulina, dentist Anastasia Chernyshova and radiologist Anna Charushina have already begun seeing patients. The mid-level medical workers have been assigned to work in the inpatient department and the hospital’s rural units.

      Yesterday evening, on September 3, a fire broke out in one of the houses in the Kalinka dacha cooperative in the village of Isupovskaya. Emergency Ministry (EMERCOM) personnel were dispatched to the scene. They contained the blaze, after which they found the body of a 70-year-old man in the house. The fire is believed to have been caused by careless handling of fire while smoking.

      A preliminary investigation is being carried out by the investigative department for the Leninsky District of the city of Kirov of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Kirov Region. Investigators are establishing all the circumstances of the incident.

      Citizens are reminded to observe safety precautions when handling fire.
