Zoomers named the main "red flags" when looking for a job.
A study by the leading online recruitment platform hh.ru and digital solutions developer LADA Tsifra showed that young people entering the labor market primarily pay attention to an employer’s transparency and honesty. Among the main “red flags” zoomers named a vague job description and the absence of specific duties (69% of respondents said so). Second place went to constant overtime (62%), and third to negative employee reviews (55%). More than half of respondents (51%) noted that they are put off by unethical behavior during interviews, including comments about a candidate’s personality or previous workplaces. In addition, companies that pay “grey” or “black” wages and lack official employment contracts (42%) raise concern. Job postings with an excessively long list of requirements (38%) or bans on remote work and flexible schedules (36%) are also unpopular. At the same time, zoomers value a clear description of duties (72%), information about job perks and bonuses (58%), and employee reviews (47%). Nearly half of the study participants (45%) consider a clear and convenient structure of the job posting text important. Experts emphasize that companies wishing to attract young specialists should pay attention not only to working conditions but also to the quality of how they present information about themselves and their vacancies. Kirov ranked among the top three regions where a single salary is not enough. The highest-paid vacancies in Kirov for August have been named.
