Honored Architect of Russia Yevgeny Arbuzov has died.
The death of Evgeny Dmitrievich was reported by Elena Lebedeva, director of the legal department of the Vyatka Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The architect passed away on August 21, 2025, two days before his 79th birthday.
Evgeny Arbuzov was a laureate of the regional prize named after S. M. Kirov for the reconstruction of the Theater on Spasskaya. Among his notable works are the reconstruction of a former warehouse into a business center with the Khlynov restaurant on Komsomolskaya, residential buildings on Uritskogo Street, the administrative building of the Kirov dairy plant, a residential complex on Bolshevikov Street, the fountain on Theater Square, and a business center on the corner of Karl Marx and Profsoyuznaya streets.
Elena Lebedeva added that Evgeny Dmitrievich was the kindest and most cultured person.
The funeral service for Evgeny Dmitrievich will be held on August 26 at 10:00 at the Serafimovskaya Church.
