In 2026, a general aviation center will open at Pobedilovo.
In Kirov Oblast a cooperation agreement was signed between the regional Ministry of Transport, Pobedilovo Airport and the company Southern Alliance, the government reported. Under the partnership the airport will become a platform for the development of general aviation: a modern aviation services center will be created there, a pilot school opened, a maintenance base for aircraft and a hotel for crew members built. In the investor’s near-term plans is the construction of a hangar for the parking of airplanes and helicopters. The new aviation cluster is expected to begin operations in 2026.
