As the organization explained, the new bill includes a section titled "Individual Meter Readings," which displays information about the meter number, the accepted readings, the channel through which they were received, and the meter's verification date.
"The exchange of data on readings submitted by customers is carried out electronically. This is done to improve billing accuracy. Paper bills are not processed, so the field for submitting readings on the bill has been removed. Customers can view the record of submitted readings in the 'History of Readings on the Account' section in the Personal Account, or keep them independently in any way convenient to them," said Lyudmila Novikova, Head of Customer Service Management at the Kirov branch of Energosbyt Plus.
The company noted that customers can, as before, submit readings by any convenient method: via the mobile app, the Personal Account, the VKontakte or Telegram chat-bot, when paying through payment agents (Russian Post or banks), or by the toll-free phone number: 8-800-700-80-77.
In addition, to protect personal data, the updated bill does not include the customer's name at the bottom, since an exact address is sufficient for delivering the bill.
