Schools and kindergartens in Kirov will be inspected for emergency preparedness.
On August 21, large-scale drills will be held in kindergartens, schools, technical schools and colleges in the Kirov region. Staff and security personnel of the educational institutions will drill emergency response procedures.
During the drills, the operability of video surveillance, alarm, notification, evacuation management and building access control systems will be checked. This will help objectively assess how prepared the institutions are to respond to potential threats.
The National Guard, police and the Ministry of Emergency Situations will take part in the exercises. After they conclude, specialists will analyze the results and provide recommendations for strengthening security measures.
