A junior lieutenant from Yaransk returned home after three years of service in the SVO zone.
According to the publication, about 30 soldiers were under Alexey's command. He notes that for an officer it is important to take into account each soldier's mood and readiness, to create conditions for service and rest, and also to remind them to observe safety procedures. According to the serviceman, with the start of the special military operation the nature of combat changed — quadcopters have become especially important, allowing the situation on the line of contact to be assessed.
The fighter emphasized that servicemen particularly appreciate support from their hometown: assistance is needed in the form of electronic warfare systems, camouflage nets and trench candles. The latter allow them to warm up and heat food in field conditions, but they burn for only about two hours. Letters from home are no less important to the fighters.
At home Alexey was awaited by his wife and two daughters. The officer's wife has for several years been helping fellow townspeople at the front by collecting and delivering humanitarian parcels. She admits that during his service her husband sometimes had to be out of contact, but later he always found a way to let her know that he was all right.
Alexey himself believes that a warrior's path should be walked with dignity, emulating the feats of his great-grandfathers and the veterans of the Great Patriotic War.
