      The structure, popular with tourists and vital to local residents, is in an unsafe condition. The bridge is a crucial link that connects the villages of Studenets, Podbornye and Udalovshchina with the settlement of Strizhi. For the villagers it is the only route to shops, social services and workplaces. The problem is particularly acute in spring and autumn, when the dirt road across the field becomes impassable. After repeated appeals to the Kirov administration and to the president’s hotline, the issue was taken under the control of the People’s Front. At the prosecutor’s request, funds were allocated from the city budget for an inspection. Its results will determine the cost of repairs, after which work will begin to secure financing for the bridge’s restoration.
