On April 26, a 17-year-old was with an 18-year-old acquaintance near one of the houses on Shkolnaya Street in Vyatskiye Polyany. At some point a conflict broke out between them, during which the 17-year-old stabbed the 18-year-old friend once in the abdomen.
A criminal case was initiated against the perpetrator under paragraph "z" of part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm using an object employed as a weapon). At present, the investigation has been completed.
At the request of the investigative authorities, the accused was placed under house arrest. The teenager admitted his guilt and expressed remorse for his actions. At the same time, the investigator of the Investigative Committee collected exhaustive evidence incriminating the teenager in the commission of the act imputed to him, whereupon the criminal case was forwarded to court for trial on the merits.
