The site will be located in Kochurovsky Park near the central avenue and the children's playground. The first stage will include preparatory work: an area measuring 11 by 20 meters will be poured with concrete.
The head of the Leninsky District territorial administration, Sergei Torkhov, explained that they are currently in dialogue with athletes. They are discussing what equipment they would like to see here: pull-up bars, sit-up benches, and monkey bars. Then the supplier will manufacture and install all of this. In addition, a special rubber mat will be laid.
The development of the site is being carried out under the state program "Development of Physical Culture and Sports." The project's financial support is being provided by deputies of the Kirov City Duma from funds allocated for fulfilling voters' requests. The cost of the work will be about 650,000 rubles.
