In Kirov, the installation of outdoor lighting has been completed on 26 streets.

      In Kirov, work is actively underway to install outdoor lighting on city streets and in suburban settlements. These measures are being implemented as part of the municipal program "Environmental Protection and Improvement." In 2025, 52 million rubles have been allocated from the budget for these purposes.

      Contractors have already completed the installation of power networks and the erection of poles with luminaires on 26 streets. Of these, equipment is connected and operational at 19 sites. New street lighting has already been switched on in the villages of Kokuy and Kobeli, on Mayskaya Street in the settlement of Ganino, and in the pedestrian zone of Vorovskogo Street — from Proizvodstvennaya Street to E. Kochkina Street.

      The Department of Urban Economy reported that the preparation of cost estimates and the signing of contracts for the next facilities are ongoing. A municipal contract has already been signed for the installation of outdoor lighting on Detstva Street — from the settlement of Lugovye to Novoslobodskaya Street.

      Procurement requests for the installation of poles, the mounting of luminaires and the connection of networks have been submitted for works on Moskovskaya Street in the Sadakovsky settlement, Ryabinovaya Street in the Kostino settlement, the passage near building No. 34 on Potrebkooperatsii Street to the settlement of Palkino, and in the village of Lugoviki.

      The street lighting improvements will increase the safety and comfort of Kirov residents at night.
