Changes have been made to the activities of the regional evacuation commission.

      In particular, as the document shows, the main tasks of the evacuation commission are defined as “planning, preparing, organizing the conduct of and providing comprehensive support for the evacuation of the population, material and cultural assets and archival documents within the territory of Kirov Oblast in the event of dangers arising from armed conflicts, the threat of their occurrence or in the situation resulting from those conflicts, as well as in natural and man-made emergencies.”

      In addition, the commission must coordinate the activities of evacuation bodies established at municipal and facility levels, and ensure the coordination of actions by the authorities, forces and resources that implement evacuation measures in the region.

      The commission is also charged with overseeing the implementation of measures to evacuate the population, material and cultural assets and archival documents within the region in the event of dangers arising in the context of armed conflicts and during emergencies.
