It was 2:1, with 35 minutes left in the game. During that time the Tyumen players managed to score two more goals, in the 78th minute and in the 86th minute from a penalty. The final score was 4:1 in favor of FC Tyumen.
After the defeat in this match the Kirov team dropped from second-to-last to last place in the standings with two points. Above Dynamo were Dynamo's reserve side, Leningradets, Volgar and others.
At the post-match press conference the head coach of the Kirov team, Viktor Bulatov, shared his view of the game: "Probably the score doesn't reflect what was on the pitch. In the first half it was an absolutely even game, they had chances, we had chances, maybe even we had more… Tyumen simply has more experience, we mostly have players who played in 'Serebro', we haven't really strengthened much, only filled the quota-player positions. We have potential and the match with Alania showed that."
