A man from Kirov wanted to buy a car, but ended up with broken ribs.
On April 16, near building No. 5 on Lesozavodskaya Street in Kirov, an unpleasant incident occurred. A man decided to buy a car and, while checking the price of the vehicle, disagreed with the appraisal. He claimed the price was inflated. The seller suggested he could buy a vehicle at an affordable price in the region where, according to the victim, cars are cheaper.
For this reason a dispute arose between the young men, during which the 24-year-old seller beat the victim with his hands and feet, striking his head and body and breaking his ribs. In forensic medical terms, the injuries in the form of rib fractures are classified as having caused grievous bodily harm.
A criminal case was opened against the young man. He was found guilty under Part 1 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm). The court agreed with the prosecutor and sentenced the young man to one year of imprisonment. The Kirov resident will serve the sentence in a general-regime correctional colony.
