Gasoline prices in Kirov continue to rise — AI-95 now costs 63 rubles 8 kopecks.
On Friday, August 2nd, fuel prices at Kirov gas stations increased again for AI-95 "Euro" gasoline. The price rose by 25 kopecks—from 62 rubles 83 kopecks to 63 rubles 8 kopecks per liter.
This is the fourth increase in the past three weeks. Recall that on July 11th, this fuel type cost 62 rubles 33 kopecks, and on July 26th, it was 62 rubles 83 kopecks. Overall, since the beginning of 2025, AI-95 has risen by 2 rubles 60 kopecks—the price per liter on January 1st was 60 rubles 48 kopecks.
Fuel prices in Kirov are showing a steady upward trend. Despite public promises by Governor Alexander Sokolov to "get to the bottom of the situation" and to introduce a major player—"Tatneft"—to the market, there have been no significant developments so far. Not a single new gas station from this company has appeared in the region.
Meanwhile, drivers and transport operators are increasingly having to recalculate their expenses, and residents are left wondering where these weekly price adjustments will end.
