In Kirov, at Lobansky Cemetery, the memory of Ivan Charushin was honored.

On Ivan Apollonovich Charushin Memorial Day, July 29, 2025, a memorial service was held at the Lobansky Cemetery in Kirov to mark the 80th anniversary of his death.

His memory was honored at his final resting place, where believers prayed for the repose of his soul. Many warm words were spoken during the service about the architect who left a vast legacy of churches and other architectural structures, which have become an integral part of the region's culture. It was also noted that Ivan Charushin was awarded three orders of the Russian Empire for his achievements in architecture.

In addition to being a great architect, Charushin was actively involved in the artistic decoration of churches, and his works continue to inspire specialists and art lovers today. Eternal memory to the great master builder, whose creations remain alive to this day.

Furthermore, it is worth mentioning that restoration work is ongoing in Kirov on another significant site associated with Charushin — his house. After an auction in January 2025, the State Enterprise “Selmash” became the new owner of the cultural heritage site. In June of this year, restoration work on Charushin’s house began. The Asgard Group of Companies will develop the restoration project, and currently, the house is covered with a protective coating to preserve it. The restoration aims to restore its historic appearance and re-emphasize its importance as part of the city’s cultural heritage.
