Today, Governor Alexander Sokolov summarized the meeting with Roman Novikov, head of Rosavtodor. One of the main topics was the need to repair sections of the federal highway Kostroma – Kirov – Perm, which pass through the region. The pavement on some segments of the road is seriously worn out, with potholes and other defects. Sokolov expressed confidence that the organization would carry out repairs in the near future. The meeting also discussed the situation with the bridge over the Pizhma River in the Sovetsky district. At the end of last year, the development of its reconstruction project was completed. The region plans to seek support from the federal government to begin the work.
