A resident of Kirovo-Chepetsk was convicted of repeated drunk driving.

      In Kirovo-Chepetsk, a court sentenced a 56-year-old local resident who repeatedly got behind the wheel under the influence of alcohol. He had previously been punished for a similar violation and revoked his driver's license.

      The incident occurred on March 14. The intoxicated driver of a Geely was driving through the streets of the village of Chuvashi in the Kirovo-Chepetsk district when he was stopped by traffic police officers. During the check, it was found that the man had previously been held responsible for drunk driving.

      The court sentenced the offender to 250 hours of compulsory labor and prohibited him from driving for a year. It was also decided to confiscate the vehicle in favor of the state.
