More than 100 female entrepreneurs from Kirov received maternity benefits in 2025.

      In 2025, 111 individual entrepreneurs from the Kirov region received maternity benefits. The funds were paid by the Social Fund of Russia to women who had voluntarily enrolled in the mandatory social insurance system and paid insurance contributions in 2024.

      Participation in this system is open not only to individual entrepreneurs but also to other self-employed categories: lawyers, notaries, arbitrators, members of peasant-farming households, and other individuals engaged in private practice.

      To receive similar payments in 2026, entrepreneurs must pay their insurance contributions by December 31, 2025. The amount is calculated based on the minimum wage and in 2025 it is 7,809.1 rubles. Taking into account the regional coefficient for the Kirov region — 8,980.5 rubles. Payments can be made in full or in installments.

      Participation in the system allows for four types of benefits:

      - for maternity and childbirth;

      - upon the birth of a child;

      - for childcare up to 1.5 years;

      - for temporary disability.

      Applications for participation can be submitted through the "Gosuslugi" portal, at the Social Fund’s customer service, or at MFC centers.
