      Test runs of the new fountain are taking place in Kirov Park. This was reported by the head of the city administration, Vyacheslav Simakov, on his official account. He reminded that the large-scale project is being implemented thanks to the agreements made by the governor of Kirov Oblast, Alexander Sokolov. According to Simakov, the trial starts with the equipment do not follow the approved schedule — the contractor checks the system operation as needed. Therefore, residents are asked to observe safety measures and not go onto the roadway to avoid disrupting traffic and provoking accidents. "Commissioning work will continue until the official opening of the water feature, which we will announce separately," noted Simakov. However, under the administrative head's post, residents left a dozen critical comments. Many Kirov residents expressed dissatisfaction with the priorities of city spending: "In the southwest of Kirov, dozens of houses are without hot water until at least August 4.
