Almost half—48%—are willing to pay for tuition if admission to the budget place proves impossible. Another 7% focus exclusively on paid education. The main criteria when choosing a university are the ranking position and the tuition cost, mentioned by 37% of parents each. A third of respondents consider reviews of the universities important. Parents also pay attention to the list of required exams (EGE), the qualifications of instructors, and the number of budget places. 13% of parents admitted they do not participate in selecting the educational institution, allowing their children to make this decision independently.
