64% of working residents of the Kirov region admitted to experiencing emotional burnout at work daily. This was revealed by a survey conducted by analysts from the Tоксbank and hh.ru. Our region ranks among the leaders in psychological stress levels among the working population. Almost every second person experiences stress and constant anxiety due to work tasks. Just under half of the respondents complain about the inability to separate work and personal life. Information overload, frequent overtime, and the need to be connected outside of working hours are also among the most common issues. Young professionals aged 25 to 34 are most susceptible to burnout, with emotional exhaustion reaching 72%. Women more frequently report burnout and stress, while men cite overtime. The situation is especially severe in the tourism, restaurant, and hotel industries, where nearly 90% of employees report daily emotional burnout. Serious problems are also observed in consulting, investment, media, and creative professions.
