The document, signed today, July 23, by Russian President Vladimir Putin, has been published on the legal information portal. The law allows the Federal Security Service to establish its own detention facilities for holding suspects and accused individuals of criminal offenses. According to the document, the head of the FSB will be able to set requirements for escort and security of suspects and accused persons, the process of their participation in investigations and court proceedings, as well as for visitation rooms in detention centers.
