According to the Kirov Region Prosecutor's Office, the Verkhekamsky District Prosecutor's Office conducted an investigation into the rights and lawful interests of close relatives of participants in the special military operation.
The investigation established that the applicant's son participated in the SVO and went missing in August 2024 while performing combat tasks. Unable to exercise the right to receive available state support measures, the elderly woman appealed to the prosecutor's office for help.
To defend the rights of the mother of the missing SVO participant and his minor daughter, the prosecutor filed a lawsuit in court to recognize the legal fact of the death of the missing serviceman.
After reviewing the case, the court found the prosecutor's claims to be lawful and justified.
As noted by the regional prosecutor's office, the court's decision, once final, serves as a basis for the appointment and payment of all legally provided social benefits and pensions to the mother and minor daughter of the SVO participant.
