According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kirov region, the Beloholunitsky police department received information about the hospitalization of a 28-year-old woman with stab and cut wounds. It was found that she sought medical help only several days after sustaining her injuries.
Preliminary information indicates that the woman entered an abandoned building on one of the city's streets, where she had previously been with friends. Inside, she encountered an acquaintance — a 62-year-old local resident with prior convictions. They had a conflict, during which the man attacked her with a knife, then fled. The woman managed to escape and report the incident only two days later.
The suspect was detained. A criminal case has been initiated under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Deliberate grievous bodily harm with the use of a weapon"). He is currently in custody, and the investigation continues.
