Drivers who occupied the sidewalk on Rudnitskogo in Kirov were fined.

      Let us remind you that the improvement works in Rudnitsky were completed last year. 71 million rubles were allocated for the construction of roads and sidewalks. However, shortly after the renovation was finished, the pedestrian areas were occupied by cars.

      Local residents complained that they had to step onto the roadway because of the cars. This situation became especially dangerous for parents with children. One incident, where a woman with a baby had to press against a car to let a truck pass, led to a complaint to the People's Front.

      After the intervention of public activists, traffic police officers fined all violators. The residents of the area noted that since then, cars no longer park on the sidewalks.
