      Testing of the robotic lawnmower showed that it can handle the work of three people with trimmers and brush cutters, and in one shift, it can mow up to 8,000 square meters of grass, reported the city administration.

      The plan for mowing the city lawns has been set until the end of the season. The robot will work on the central streets of Kirov: Vladimirskaya, Makhlin, Moskovskaya, Vorovskogo, and Oktyabrsky Avenue. The lawns there have recently been updated, and the device operates without damaging the grass cover. Moreover, the even surface of the lawns on these streets will allow the robot to mow freely.

      Kirov residents have already given the new assistant the name Valera on social media and even suggested finding him a "girlfriend." It is possible that in the future, several more such robots will be purchased.

      Meanwhile, as reported by the Kirov city administration, grass is also being mowed in other areas of the city. Lawns are mowed both manually and mechanically. Work is underway on Zavodskaya, Luganskaya, Lenina, Severnoe Koltso streets, in the Veresniki microdistrict, and other areas. Manually, the areas around road signs, streetlights, and fences are treated.
