Kirov residents demand not to change the route of bus №84.

      Almost all respondents opposed its reduction — 807 participants voted to preserve the route in its current form, civic activists reported. The results have already been sent to the Kirov administration.

      Previously, residents of the villages Bogorodskaya, Bolshaya, and Malaya Subbotikha learned that starting in 2026, the bus would only run to the center of Kirov, without going to the Southwest District. Currently, the route goes to the Hippodrome, which is the only direct way to clinics, stores, and workplaces. People fear that transfers will make travel significantly more difficult.

      Residents have already collected over 700 signatures to preserve the route. Some even proposed extending it to Urvantsovo to improve convenience.

      "We believe it is important to consider residents' opinions when concluding new contracts with carriers," commented Alena Chesnokova, co-chair of the regional headquarters of the All-Russian People's Front (ONF).

      Earlier, after a similar survey regarding route №51, authorities decided to keep it unchanged.
