Kirov residents were told how to prevent a natural fire

Hot weather has arrived in the Kirov region, which increases the risk of natural fires caused by people. The Kirov city administration has asked residents to restrict visits to certain dangerous areas of the forest and not to pass through barriers that limit access to forested areas.

It is necessary to follow basic rules of conduct in forests, as well as safety rules regarding fire:

      - Do not throw burning matches, cigarette butts, or smoldering rags into the forest.

      - Do not make fires in dense thickets and young coniferous forests, under low-hanging branches, near wood and peat storage facilities, or close to ripe agricultural crops.

      - Do not leave fires unattended, especially if it is windy outside.

      - Do not leave a fire burning or embers smoldering after leaving a campsite.

      - Do not leave in the forest materials soaked in gasoline, kerosene, lighter fluid, or other flammable substances, as well as firewood and charcoal.

      - Do not refuel the vehicle’s fuel tank with the engine running.

      - Do not leave bottles or glass shards on sunny clearings, as they can act as incendiary lenses.

      - Do not burn dry grass in clearings, gardens, fields, or under trees.

      - Do not make fires near dacha structures.

      - Do not smoke in the forest.
