Residents of 109 villages in the Kirov region gained access to Beeline's high-speed 4G.

Residents of 109 villages in the Kirov region gained access to Beeline's high-speed 4G.

4G connectivity from the operator has appeared in the following villages and rural areas of the region: Arbazhsky district – Kormino, Pishnury, Shembet; Afanasyevsky district – Arkhipyata, Kuvakush, Sloboda; Belozolotsky district – Vsekhsvyatoye; Bogorodsky district – Karaul, Taranki, Ukhtym; Verkhnekamsky district – Yuzhaki; Verkhosizhsky district – Kosino; Vyatskopolyansky district – Matveyevo, Nizhnie Iziverki, Staraya Malinovka; Drovskoy district – Bobrovy, Verkhovondanka, Ivanovka, Krivetskaya, Piksur, Khokhlovschina; Zuevsky district – Lema, Musikhi, Ryabovo; Kilmetsky district – Azikovo, Pesterovo, and others. For the full list of settlements, see Beeline Now.

This was made possible by Beeline's participation in the federal project to eliminate digital inequality (UСN), implemented on the initiative of Russia's Ministry of Digital Development. The project includes villages, settlements, and hamlets with populations not exceeding 500 people.

Today, rural residents have the opportunity to comfortably use various digital services based on the operator's internet: communicate with loved ones via video calls and messaging apps, watch movies in high resolution, work with banking applications and the Public Services Portal, make purchases on marketplaces, and more.

As noted by the operator, mobile communication in these settlements is deployed using new technologies. For example, good sound quality during phone calls is achieved thanks to the VoLTE* service, which has been working in the Kirov region since February 2024.

"Internet today is an integral part of everyday life, and at Beeline, we strive to ensure that residents not only in big cities but also in remote rural areas can enjoy all its advantages. Our participation in the UСN project has already allowed us to significantly expand our coverage zone, providing high-speed 4G internet even in hard-to-reach areas of the region," comments Stanislav Okulov, director of Beeline’s Kirov branch.

Recall that to use high-speed mobile internet, a smartphone supporting 4G and a SIM card issued after 2016 are required. You can exchange your SIM card for one supporting the 4G standard at any Beeline store.
