Fraudsters stole more than 400,000 rubles from a resident of Tujinsky District.
The Tujinsk District Prosecutor's Office conducted an investigation into the incident, during which it was determined that internet scammers illegally received 440,000 rubles belonging to a 33-year-old resident of Nyr village.
The stolen money was transferred to an intermediary account (dropper) from the Chelyabinsk region for further cashing out.
The regional prosecutor's office stated that, in protecting the rights of the woman in a difficult life situation, the prosecutor filed a lawsuit in court. The suit demanded the return of the stolen money to the victim, as well as an interest for their illegal use.
The court satisfied the claim and is monitoring the enforcement of the court decision.
