A resident of Kirov will receive 75,000 rubles for assault.
On July 9, in the Pervomaysky District Court, a claim for moral damages due to assault was considered. The victim demanded 75,000 rubles, and the court fully satisfied his claim.
The incident occurred on the night of October 6 of the previous year on the roadway between buildings at Truda, 39 and Volodarskogo, 68 in Kirov. As a result of the attack, the man sustained bruises to his head, knees, face, and an eye injury.
Regarding the attacker, he was previously found guilty by a justice of the peace of an administrative offense and fined 5,000 rubles. However, the court concluded that what the victim experienced warrants additional compensation.
As the plaintiff’s representative, Yaroslav Mikhaylov, stated, the victim was unable to work for over a month due to his eye injury, as his job involves being in dusty environments. This allowed for the attacker to be ordered to pay such a high compensation.
