In the Yurian District, migrants were "running away" from the army.

This time, an interdepartmental team involving military investigation officers, police, and the military enlistment office visited a construction site in the Yurian district.

The reason for the raid was cases where migrants who acquired Russian citizenship fail to register for military service as required by law. According to regulations, after taking the oath, a new citizen has two weeks to report to the military enlistment office. However, practice shows that many ignore this obligation.

Inspections cover markets, construction sites, and other places where former migrants work. Since the beginning of the year, several dozen such violations have been identified in the Kirov region. All violators have been registered for military service; seven of them have already signed contracts and are currently serving, including in the zone of the special military operation.

In some cases, deportation is possible if a citizen grossly violates migration rules.
