The Ministry of Environmental Protection of the Kirov Region received information about traffic accidents involving wild animals in May. In the last month of spring, there were 21 such accidents in the region. Of these, 20 involved elk and one involved a hare. Four people were injured in these incidents. The accidents were recorded in the following districts: Verkhnezhigamsky, Kilmetsky, Kirovo-Chepetsky, Kotelnichesky, Orichevsky, Orlovsky, Pizhansky, Sovetsky, Shabalinsky, Yuryevsky, Yarsky, and within Kirov city. Drivers are reminded to adhere to traffic rules and speed limits when traveling by car during twilight and at night.
