More than 20 tons of berries were imported from Kyrgyzstan to Kirov in six months
Specialists of the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for the Kirov region of our region checked a shipment of fresh raspberries weighing 3.78 tons, delivered from the Kyrgyz Republic. The inspection was successful: there were no violations in the documentation or during the inspection of the transport.
Also, samples of imported berries were checked for the presence of quarantine pests. According to the results of the laboratory examination, no pests were found in raspberries, on the basis of which a phytosanitary control act was issued, allowing the berries to be used for their intended purpose.
The Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for the Kirov region reports that since the beginning of 2025, 23.18 tons of berries have already been imported from Kyrgyzstan to the Kirov region. It should be noted that during the same period of 2024, only 3,937 tons of fresh strawberries were delivered from Kyrgyzstan.
